Like a Project, Win an iPad 2!
One brand new Apple iPad 2 (16GB, WiFi) will be given away to a lucky fan of the most popular CKIE project.
The most popular project is the one that reaches 1000 Facebook "Like's" first, or, has the most "Like's" on May 31st.
Chances of winning are amazing at an estimated 1 in 1000.
To enter the contest, simply:
1) find your favourite CKIE project,
2) click on the Facebook 'Like' button, then
3) send an email to contest@ckie.com with the project you 'Liked' in the email subject
Contest ends when the first project reaches 1000 Facebook "Like's", OR, at 11:59pm PST on May 31st, 2011, whichever happens first.
The day after the contest ends, one (1) lucky contestant who 'Liked' the winning project will be randomly selected to win the iPad 2. Contest open to everyone worldwide.

What is CKIE?
CKIE (pronounced seeky) is a resource that allows product designers to gather the funding they need to complete their projects. It's also a place to discover and obtain the world's newest products just before they reach the market.
What is crowdfunding?
It’s when a group of people pools their money together — via the Internet — in support of a common cause. At its core, CKIE is a crowdfunding platform for product designers.
What is all-or-nothing crowdfunding?
It means that if a project doesn’t reach its funding goal before its funding deadline, all contributions are returned and project creators don't get any funding. This protects both project creators and backers. Designers aren’t burdened with having to manufacture a product with only partial funding, and backers can make contributions without risk of seeing their money go to waste.
